Warzone in real life?🤙

 Whats popping everyone? Not the cartel thats for sure! But in all seriousness yes the leader/drug lord of the cartel got killed yesterday. Yes as of right now where I am is safe, that could change at any moment so thats exciting. 


Highlights: 
I got to play clash royale at our friend Fernandas house, she wanted only me to teach so she gave her phone to my comp and I taught about the temples all by myself, that was pretty epic. After like 10 minutes she made me not teach and so I got to play clash, it was so great. 

I got a costco card, I felt like it was a big achievement as an adult to get one so I had to share. Best idea Ive had since going on a mission😀

Posol... everyone down here says posol is like the best drink ever, to be honest its horrible. I dont even know what it is but its not good at all.

Sunday on our walk to church 9 armored trucks flew by us with mounted guns and all. As a joke I said the cartel was fighting back. Later we found out they actually were (I gotta stop joking about the cartel they may just find me)

Spiritual thought: 
With everything going on, Ive really been thinking how much people need to find Christ. Thats why Im here, there are weeks like this one that were hard for finding and teaching. Elder Armstrong and I have decided we needed a change in our perspectives on the mission, everything happens for a reason. Its all on God's timing and his will. We can go through trials with the mindset of "why am I going through this trial" or have a different perspective. "We have the opportunity to go through this trial and learn from it". I invite you all to change your mindset from the first one to the second, be grateful for every moment you have at all times. You never know when something could change.

Earthquakes, fires, and headaches

  Holy what a week. A lot happened. To start off with news years, I thought the US did it big for new years. Nope not one bit. It sounded like I was in a war zone all night. At midnight there were about 100 plus elders screaming and yelling on the field right behind the casa. I watched some of the craziest fireworks I've ever seen, we were all standing on the second counselors driveway, to think back to it there were so many other spots to watch fireworks at midnight in the ccm. Thats okay, he didn't yell at us.  I don't think ive ever had such bad headaches and the amount I have had here is not fun. Im famous? No

  This transfer was crazy, we did it all literally exploring the jungle all the way to being cornered in an alley by a dog. Its been so amazing serving God in Mexico.  Just found out my dad is DL as well as finishing my training 🙏🙏 thats pretty hype. Alright lets get into it, here are the highlights of this week: -Divies with the ZL, its been weird both of the divies I have done have been in my area with my companion and then another missionary joining us. Its been great. A long with that, we had a sleepover at the ZLs house. That was pretty fun, they live in a house with 4 other missionaries right now.we had boneless, its basically a better Bdubs. We are looking for José 😃

  And thats another solid week down here in Mexico, it doesnt stop getting hotter.  It was a pretty interesting week so lets get to the good stuff. Highlights:  -We had zone conference, it was chill. I was able to understand a good chunk of it. That was pretty dope. -A lot of the times when we are looking for people and doing public contacts or just talking to people in the streets, instead of making it weird by just starting talking. I like to ask them if they know José, we are looking for José. Sometimes it works, other times you get sent to a house of jehovah witnesses -Met some pretty dope jehovah witnesses, usually they don't like us missionaries. They invited us in and we talked, gave us an invite to their church. The next day we were walking close to their house and he came running with pan and gave us some fire pan.
