Cooking so much we got Interrogated🤠
Dont worry all, I didnt forget to email. Our mission got visted by someone from the missionary department and he wanted to talk to us because our mission has been doing so good all the sudden they wanted to see what it was. So my zones Pday got switched.
Alright lets get it
Highlights:
-Ive been yelled at by so many short drunk mexican guys, for some reason it happened a lot more this week. Kinda funny but they need to learn more about Jesus.
-I gave a blessing but in english? It was some inactive members, they saw us walking and had us stop. We shared a message and then they asked for a blessing. My comp gave one and then he asked me if I wanted to give the other, i told him in english I dont know if I could in spanish. Well the lady understands english and told us I could do it in english. Wild, they later sent a video of them dumping alcohol down the toilet.
-got Interrogated by someone from the missionary department, he kept asking what happened on the 22nd of March to change the future baptism percentage? Apparently they have graphs of every mission and ours shot up randomly. Pretty cool I guess.
-Went to the temple with Fernanda! Definitely the biggest highlight of the week. She wanted to do a baptism for her abuela. How great it is we have the blessing to give others the chance to receive blessings.
-One day while knocking apartments we were on the top floor, to the left were stairs. Of course we got curious and had to go up them. The next second we were on a roof of an apartment building. Dont worry we were no where near the edge and there were no wires for me to grab.😔
-This week Elder Armstrong and I decided to talk to everyone, and when I say everyone I mean every person we walk by in the street. Let me tell you, if you want to do something out of your comfort zone... Talk to people while walking down the street. We decided we wanted everyone to have the chance to go to church, or at least be invited.
Spiritual thought:
I just want to share how blessed we are to have temples. I love temples, I would go so often before I left on my mission. To be able to go to the temple with Fernanda just opened my eyes to how blessed we are to have these places of peace in this world. This world is crazy, there is peace in Christ. When we go to the temple we can feel the peace so much more. This isnt as much of a spiritual thought than an invitation. Go to the temple whenever you can. Help someone on the other side of the veil. Have the peace in your life, there's nothing else like it.
Thats all, this one was longer my bad
Email me porfa🙏
